Our Story

Goo Goo Eyes, is our high-concept eyewear store. We opened in the upscale neighborhood of University Park, Dallas in 2005. The store incorporates a number of changes that add up to a dramatically different and pleasurable shopping experience.

In October, 2015, Goo Goo Eyes underwent a complete remodel. The store is very inviting and offers a luxury seating area and a coffee/refreshment bar, similar to luxury automobile dealerships, for a relaxing customer experience.

Goo Goo Eyes’ selection is more upscale and diverse than typical at other optical stores. In addition to our exclusive designer frame collections, we carry more sunglasses than most sunglass stores.

There's also a high-tech component to what's going on at Goo Goo Eyes. We employ state-of-the-art digital imagers that use digital measurement technology to provide the most precise prescription eyewear fit possible. We calibrate pupillary distance, segment height and progressive lens corridor to 99 percent accuracy. With these precise measurements, customers experience a better fit and a less awkward adjustment period to new glasses.

While this imaging technology takes a lot of the guesswork out of the look and fit of your new glasses, Goo Goo Eyes opticians take the guesswork out of how much they cost. We engage our customers to participate step-by-step in a fully transparent process, so they never have to wonder how their final cost was calculated.

Goo Goo Eyes is directed at discriminating shoppers who rebel against the commoditization of retail shopping. These customers are looking for a world-class low-stress, consumer centric shopping experience. So, we’ve tailored every aspect of the experience to deliver that. We go as far as eliminating the visual noise of point-of-purchase ad clutter to create an environment that is reservedly upscale, calm and welcoming.
