Goo Goo Eyes, the high-concept eyewear store opened at 6831 Snider Plaza in University Park, Dallas on September 1, 2005. The opening rang a familiar bell to long-time residents of this upscale Dallas neighborhood. Nineteen years earlier, a parallel retailing idea debuted not far from Goo Goo Eyes on Lovers Lane. It was called Reading Glasses to Go, and offered a designer shopping experience to people in search of reading glasses. What we did for reading glasses 19 years ago, we are now doing for prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses. We've designed a store that incorporates a number of changes that add up to a dramatically different shopping experience.

Goo Goo Eyes' selection differs from what's typically offered by other optical retailers, In addition to our exclusive designer frame collections, we carry more sunglasses than most sunglass stores. The store has been designed in a Starbucks-inspired mood of minimalist, earthy good taste. We refrain from all of the distracting point-of-purchase ad clutter. The truly revolutionary power of the imager is that its digital measurement technology provides the most precise prescription eyewear fit possible, calibrating pupillary distance, segment height and progressive lens corridor to 99 percent accuracy. What that means, is that with more precise measurements, you will experience a less awkward adjustment period to new glasses.
