Press Release : Trends

DALLAS, Texas — May 21, 2013 — Goo Goo Eyes, Dallas' leading retailer of designer eyewear, has launched its latest video, highlighting 2013 eyewear trends. As eyewear fashion continues to evolve, Goo Goo Eyes remains committed to helping consumers understand new trends in eyewear.

Retro-inspired sunglasses adjust to reflect modern fashion, and fashion-minded consumers seek education on such updates. In response, the video addresses new takes on cat eye sunglasses, mirrored lenses, aviators and round glasses. Featured cat eye sunglasses designers include Prada, Chanel and Tom Ford.

Mykita and Maui Jim are showcased in the mirrored lenses portion of the video, while Ray-Ban and Armani exemplify aviator style updates. Goo Goo Eyes showcases its broad selection of round glasses and sunglasses from designers including Theo and Oliver Peoples.

Bold colors have stolen the 2013 fashion scene from head to toe – eyes included. The Goo Goo Eyes' video shows viewers how to make a statement with color blocking and hot shades like blue and orange. Designers Tory Burch, Alain Mikli and Fendi are just a few of many whose colorful collections are highlighted.

And while large frames are still on trend, logo and temple sizes have diminished in size. Consumers can preview examples of these updated styles on the Goo Goo Eyes video as well.
