About LINDBERG
LINDBERG is the embodiment of Danish design. The company was founded in 1984 by pioneering optician Poul-Jørn LINDBERG and architect Hans Dissing. Poul-Jørn had been running his optical store with his wife in Århus, Denmark.
He had become increasingly frustrated by the heavy frames of the time that dominated the eyewear market. In his quest to create lightweight frames, he partnered with Hans, and the pair went on to invent a revolutionary new product – Air Titanium - launched to the public in 1886.
Today the Danish brand is an international eyewear empire, renowned for world-class, exceptional luxury eyewear quality and lightweight, innovative design. They produce a comprehensive selection of eyewear made in titanium, acetate, buffalo horn, wood, and precious metals.
