Cat-Eyes For Women

Cat-Eyes For Women example

The cool cat-eye is a retro mainstay and today the broad choice in varieties of feline shapes goes beyond what we might ever imagine. From soft, universally flattering and easy to pop on whatever your style or demands of the day, to razor sharp or pointed, there’s something for every face shape and no shortage of statement styles to make this your accessory of choice.

The usual recommendation is that traditional cat-eye shapes with an angular silhouette suit those with round faces – particularly the oversized acetate varieties with glamorous thick frames. The 1950s elongated shapes, which are narrow and upswept can be well suited to squarer face shapes, while those with oval faces will also easily pull off a fairly well sized cat eye shape. However it’s always worth experimenting a little, as colors and details will determine the final look and design and whether it is one that meets your fashion requirements as well as your particular facial characteristics.

In recent years, we have seen this shape in everything from stylish classic tones (black, white or tortoise) to high-vis neon colors of the 80s and 90s, and nothing is changing anytime soon. The most in-demand cat-eye glasses are embellished and multi-colored, with extraordinarily beautiful Italian acetate colorations or – in a throwback to its earliest years, studded with sparkling Swarovski crystals, or decorative inlays which glimmer in the light.
